Yanel Lara

Like Robert, Yanel is a Director and Principal Occupational Hygienist at AMCOSH. She has over 32 years of experience in OH&S with the Victorian Department of Labour. Yanel is a NATA assessor for occupational hygiene analysis. She’s also a former member of the Standards Australia Committee on Laboratory Safety. Yanel has been a guest lecturer for a number of courses, including Deakin University’s Graduate Diploma in Occupational Hygiene, RMIT’s Master of Applied Toxicology, and more. She also has considerable experience in occupational toxicology, particularly in the areas of asbestos and synthetic mineral fibres.
