Highly Qualified Occupational Hygienists

Robert is a Director and Principal Occupational Hygienist at AMCOSH. He has over 41 years of experience in the Occupational Hygiene field. Before joining AMCOSH, he worked for the Victorian Departments of Health and Labour where he specialised in workplace hazard assessment, biological monitoring, and OH&S legislation. He’s a member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists Exposure Assessment Committee, the former Chairman of the NATA Occupational Hygiene Technical Committee, and a member of the Standards Australia CH-031, Methods for Examination of Workplace Atmospheres. Robert has considerable experience in the field of occupational toxicology and has acted as an expert witness in numerous legal cases.

Like Robert, Yanel is a Director and Principal Occupational Hygienist at AMCOSH. She has over 32 years of experience in OH&S with the Victorian Department of Labour. Yanel is a NATA assessor for occupational hygiene analysis. She’s also a former member of the Standards Australia Committee on Laboratory Safety. Yanel has been a guest lecturer for a number of courses, including Deakin University's Graduate Diploma in Occupational Hygiene, RMIT's Master of Applied Toxicology, and more. She also has considerable experience in occupational toxicology, particularly in the areas of asbestos and synthetic mineral fibres.

Dan has been working in occupational hygiene for 23 years in both Australia and Canada. He’s a full member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) and an expert when it comes to workplace chemical exposure, noise control, and water quality.

Antonia’s qualifications include a BA (Political Sc), an Asbestos Handling and Removal ticket (Class A), Certificates in Working at Heights and Asset Maintenance.  During her 19 years of experience in the occupational health and safety area, she has conducted numerous hazardous materials audits and risk assessments of workplaces, commercial properties and domestic premises, airborne fibre monitoring, supervision of asbestos removal projects, clearance inspections and issuing of clearance certificates.

Bridget completed her Masters of Occupational Health and Safety in 2021 at RMIT. For her final year project, Bridget focused on exposure to Respirable Crystalline Silica in stone masonries. Bridget has a background in formulating and chemical safety and 15 years’ experience as a Research Scientist. She is passionate about effective communication and developing practical solutions.
